Meg Ryan. Just this name is enough to make one think of a sweet, romantic-comedy movie to take one\'s date to before dinner in a middle-class restaurant. Yeah, but what about \"The Doors\", you might ask? After all, everybody has one\'s glimmers, but unfortunately these are rather occasional moments, which fade away pretty fast.

After all, there is nothing wrong with romantic comedies as long as the former is not too much, and the latter is almost missing. The participation of Antonio Banderas is the small trap, actually, that makes you believe things are slightly more different this time.

The FBI agent has a tough life. It gets even tougher, if his future wife also works for FBI, and as a result from a professional deformation she likes to create psychological profiles of everyone around her, and of her future husband in particular. The situation gets even more complicated after the FBI assigned their agent the task to spy his mom\'s new boyfriend at any cost and in any way, because the boyfriend is a criminal, who is wanted by international agencies.

The trigger for comic moments has been set. The ex-100-kilo-fat mommy, who has suddenly turned into quite a city sex-bomb, pulls this trigger.

Hey, sweet Meg Ryan! She does her best in the movie, regardless of the eye-shadows and the wrinkles here and there on her face, as if tagged by the label \'retirement is coming\'. Meg really does her best or at least tries to, but it\'s the same feeling as if you have visited hotel from the happy socialist time in Bulgaria. A feeling of degradation and decayed luxury is in the air.

On the other hand, Antonio Banderas knows how to turn into a macho - Don Juan with a heroic outlook. As the saying goes, he could play his role by heart even if woken in the middle of the night. The two young FBI agents (hey, look at her! This is Selma Blair, you may have seen her in \"Hellboy 2\") fills in the holes of the scenario with praiseworthy determination.

In brief, this is a nice comedy, but if romance happens to strike me in the head, I would personally prefer to watch again \"Sleepless in Seattle\" or \"French Kiss\".
