It\'s his 25th studio album, and it\'s surely an outstanding event to Alice Cooper. Additionally, the rock legend, who celebrated his 60th birthday this year, has spent almost 40 years on the stage. This alone is a remarkably long life on the stage. Moreover, when one listens to \"Along Came a Spider\", he does not sound like an old man at all.

Actually, Alice could not rank among the greatest vocals even in the rock or heavy, except for the specific sounding of his. But sixty years are more or less, however, exactly six decades.

The last album of Alice Cooper is definitely not the top of his long career as a musician. It cannot be compared, for example, to the legendary album \"Hey, Stoopid\" from 1991. But if I have to depict \"Along Came a Spide\" in a nutshell, this album is not just good - it\'s really good. And that can be expected. Both its sounding and its texts are entirely Alice-Cooperish, which is natural, keeping in mind that this is album number twenty-five. It\'s not a surprise that it bears the style of Alice\'s latest period: this means that his album is a little bit heavier; there is more bass in it. The music is even slower and airy to some extent, and here I do not refer to the inevitable ballad though.

A good impression, also, makes the participation of two other rock-dinosaurs - Ozzy Osbourne, flesh and blood, and Slash, whose influence is quite sensible in \"Wake the Dead\" and \"Vengeance Is Mine\", respectively, especially when it comes to the first one. Well, it might sound a little bit strange, but the new album of Alice Cooper includes one particularly Osbournish piece. Nevertheless, with or without this song (if the latter, it would be a complete loss), his fans or simply the fan of the hard rock should hear it.
